Shepards Pie

1 NS beef patty
1c reduced sodium beef broth
1 clove garlic minced
2-3 tbsp onion minced
1/4- 1/2 c green beans chopped (I used canned)
pinch of ground rosemary
1 tbsp whole wheat flour

1c Steamed cauliflower
1 LCL cheese wedge
1 tbsp ff half and half or milk
butter spray
1 tsp parmesan cheese

Heat the beef broth in the microwave until almost boiling. Add some to the burger patty to hydrate it and set aside. In a non stick skillet over medium heat, sautee the onion and garlic until they are soft(use cooking spray or olive oil). Add in the green beans and crumble up the meat patty and add it as well. Sprinkle the flour over the mixture and stir. Cook for a minute to allow the flour to cook. Add in the remaining beef broth and simmer until thickend stirring often. Steam your caulliflower (I use the microwave) until it is very tender. Pour cauliflower into a mini food processor, add in the LCL cheese wedge and the ff half and half. I gave it a few squirts of butter spray as well, but you could also use 1/2 tsp butter extract. Puree until smooth. Pour thickend beef mixture into a single serving dish. Top with the cauliflower and spread to cover. Score the top gently with a fork. Spray with butter spray and sprinkle with the parmesan. Put under a broiler just until top is golden brown. Serve with garlic bread if desired.
