It is my pleasure to be able to share these recipes with you, and I would like to continue to do so. Do not print these recipes to sell or for any other use without my permission. I hate to have to write this out, but I just want to make it clear that this is not ok with me. I've worked VERY hard on these recipes and have spent a ton of money trying to make them up as well. The small ammount of profit I make from my cookbooks probably doesn't even cover my expenses much less my time in making them all. I do this because it is a love of mine and a passion that I am thrilled to be able to share with all of you. I have always made these recipes free to anyone who wished to use them. I did the cookbooks because of the many requests I had to be able to have all of my recipes in one place instead of pages all over the place!! With that said, I do hope that someday, when I have compiled up many more recipes, that I will be able to have a published copy of my cookbook that would be available in stores. I feel that these recipes could stand to help anyone who chooses to eat healthier. I do not want this dream distroyed by someone comming in and coping them and selling them in a book of their own. Thanks so much for your understanding. Christina _________________

Christin,a I totally agree with you. I read that post on the NS board where the chic wants to sell a cookbook of other people's recipes - unbelievable! Just want to thank you for sharing your recipes with all of us. I appreciate all the work that you put into not only creating them, but also counting the calories, carbs, etc.

HI, hihihi
SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT THE PERSON TRYING TO SELL YOUR RECIPES FOR A PROFIT. YOU NEED TO HAVE A COPYRIGHT ON YOUR RECIPES. IT IS SAD THAT YOU WOULD EVEN HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THIS, BUT SOME PEOPLE ARE GREEDY & LAZY. THEY WANT TO TAKE SOMEONE ELSES IDEAS.

Hi!! I dont' think she's wanting to put mine in her book, atleast I sure hope not LOL!! Unfortunatly you can't copy right a recipe. I looked into all of this when I first was trying to decide if I could do a cook book and decided that it was just a chance that I was taking by posting them. Someone might steal them and use them as their own or what not, but if I don't post them, then they aren't helping anyone either. It's tough. I just hope that no one will do that. _________________

I think the best way if someone copies your recipe and tries to sell them you can always post and say that recipes come from you personally--that way people will realize it is yours and not to buy this thief's especially on ebay...actually we can destroy her or his reputation on ebay easily by negative feedback so that way other buyers would not buy her or his recipes if they belong to you...
Just some ideas...

Christina I totally agree with you. I think its awful that someone would claim something that isn't theirs and try to make a profit from it. I know you have spent an enormus amout of time and money to be able to share these with us for free. Thank you for all that you do.

It's definetly a tough situation. The person who put up the post on the board seems to be someone who just signed up to post about this so I don't think she was even looking at my recipes. I haven't seen her since anyway. I guess if she does choose to use any of them, I would really have no way of knowing. I did tell her that I'd love to buy one of their books since I collect cookbooks, but she said they were going to sell them to anyone except the people at thr gym and friends and family so I guess that doesn't include me!! With that said, I guess I'll never know. Just the chance you take when you put them out there. 99% of the people would never dream of doing such a thing and I have to hope that that extra percent stays clear of here!! LOL!! |

| Do you have a cookbook? I would love to buy a cookbook that has these recipes in them. If so, what is your cookbook, and where could I buy one? Your recipes look delicious. I have been on Nutrisystem for a month, and these recipes would help to keep my meals from getting boring. :P |

Okay, so I found this thread and want a cookbook. Are they still available and if so where can I get one?
I will continue to look through the forum and get a answer to this myself as I see it is a very old thread! _________________ 248/246.2/180 |

Hi indychristine, I hope you have been following Chris's progress with the cookbook - it is available now for advance orders. Just thought I would post this in case you didn't know. You can go to the cookbook thread to find all of the particulars. _________________ Diana |
